On Ilford Gold Fiber Silk paper, signed 'Breukel' (on a label of the Van Zoetendaal Gallery on the backing of the frame), gallery label inscribed with title, date and number 'Koos Breukel Rineke Dijkstra, 2010' (on the backing of the frame); framed behind Mirogard glass by Profilex. Unexamined out of the frame, apparently in excellent condition. Provenance: Private collection; Van Zoetendaal Gallery, Amsterdam, 2010.
Notes: Impressive portrait of 'the queen of Dutch portraiture', who won the Johannes Vermeer prize in 2020 for her iconic contribution to photography. The only privately owned copy, the other 4 copies of this edition are in the Rabo Collection, Huis Marseille Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Musée de la Photographie Paris.
