Signed and dated 'G. Johfra 1962' (upper left); framed. Edges sl. rubbed by the frame with tiny loss of paint in the lower left corner, some stable craquelure under the arched doorway, several tiny brown spots, else in good condition.

Provenance: Private collection; Galerie Mokum, Amsterdam, 1960s. Notes: Johfra, a pseudonym derived from the letters of the artist's first and second name, painted mainly surrealistic works. Johfra showed interest in the work of Dalí, and visited the artist in his studio in 1959. Johfra became well-known to the general public due to his Zodiac series.
