Exhibited: 'Met dank aan Charles Eyck', Burgemeester Quicx/Chateau Saint Gerlach, Valkenburg, 1 May - 7 October 2018. Provenance: Private collection; acquired directly from the artist. Notes: Deaf from an early age, Charles Eyck found his expression in painting and writing. He was a versatile artist, who also sculpted, painted ceramics and made several murals and stained-glass windows for Catholic churches in the Netherlands and France.
