Condition Report:
Paper timestained, soft foxing in places, some handling creases, light water stain on the right of the lower edge, pinholes in the corners, otherwise in good condition, unexamined out of the frame. Framed behind glass.
Notes:
"San Roque was voor Lucebert na alle noodzakelijke en gewilde activiteiten in Nederland weer de beste plaats om te zijn. Op 7 augustus 1969 schreef hij aan Cas de Quay:
'Landschap hier overweldigend. nu zijn de dalen vol hand-druiven. is dit het paradijs?'"
[After all the necessary and desirable activities in the Netherlands, San Roque was again the best place to be for Lucebert. On August 7, 1969, he wrote to Cas de Quay:
'Landscape here is unbelievable. now the valleys are full of hand-grapes. is this paradise?']
