Titled and signed 'Eyck' (lower left); framed. Protruding nail heads (mainly along the edges, original state), very good condition. Frame size 51 x 75 cm.

Provenance: Private collection; acquired directly from the artist. Notes: In 1952 Charles Eyck stayed in Curaçao for several months. He came to the island on the invitation of physician and cultural pioneer Chris Engels (1907 - 1980). During this productive visit Eyck also spent a few weeks on Bonaire to paint and draw, thus documenting his impressions of the island.
