Condition:
Apparently in very good, original condition, unexamined out of the frame. Framed behind glass.
Notes: Collagist Sam Middleton was one of the prominent African-American artists who left the United States for Europe. He moved to the Netherlands in 1962 and lived several years in Amsterdam. Middleton was inspired by the Dutch polder landscape and resettled in the city of Schagen, near the sea. His works are now being exhibited and collected on both sides of the ocean.
