On brown paper, signed and dated 'L. Schelfhout 1917' (lower left); framed behind glass. Unexamined out of the frame, several vague yellow stains, else apparently in very good condition.
Notes: Lodewijk Schelfhout was the first Dutch painter influenced by Cubism. He was founder of the Genootschap van Kunstenaren Moderne Kunstkring with members such as Piet Mondriaan, Jan Sluijters and Leo Gestel.
